Here we go again, this time it’s Summer 2010
Not to say that this is a tradition (though if it were, it would be a bad one since it’s proven to be unsuccessful already), but I need somewhere to write my goals for this summer. Yes, summer has already begun, but I only just finalized all the deets. Here goes!
1. Learn Swahili (for Summer 2011!)
2. Read a Spanish novel/stories (So I have a fighting chance in Spain in the fall)
3. Adopt a Spanish soap opera to watch!
4. Create a website for myself (So I have a fighting chance when I look for a job…)
5. Start and keep up with my new blog
(Now for the fun stuff!)
6. Get a tan in a city that rarely sees the sun
7. Meet new people, make new friends and strengthen “old” relationships
8. Research & prepare for abroad in the fall (jnl, offer is still on the table to help :))
(Now for the cliché stuff…)
9. Spend less and save more (So I can spend it all in Europe)
10. Make fitness more of a priority
11. Eat fewer sweets………..(this one’s flexible…)

Don’t even sweat it! I did this while making french toast one morning…and the smoke was a direct result of my actual cooking so…. The only real problem in this story is the paranoia you will now have when cooking haha. I’ll let you know when mine wears off from…5 months ago.

This was a really cute scene from It’s Complicated. I’m also in love with his outfit in this scene. soperfect.
So I went to see It’s Complicated because I honestly thought it would be good (and the fact that John Krasinski is in it was just an added bonus). It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great either. JOHN, however, was PHENOMENAL. His role was brief, but every moment was ridiculously amazing haha. He’s so cuteee.

Headed there tomorrow for the first time in…three years! And the last time I went I was trying to decide what university to attend, which weighed on me the entire trip. Even though I chose not to go to UT, I always praise Austin as the best city in Texas, and I am extremelyy excited to go back.
I’m going to go to 6th street, eat at Kirby Lane, treat myself to Amy’s Ice Cream and maybe even climb Mt Bonnell again =).
